Delmar Community Orchestra

Welcome to the website of the Delmar Community Orchestra, a nonprofit, volunteer organization for adult musicians. We perform four public concerts a year and appear at community events and facilities as demand dictates.

The Delmar Community Orchestra will present a Spring Concert on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 7:30 pm in the Community Room of the Delmar Reformed Church, 386 Delaware Ave, Delmar. The program will include selections by Mozart, Gershwin, Lin-Manuel Miranda, our own Vince Bonafede, and others. As always, the concert is free and open to the public. Hope to see you there!

And now, a word from our board of directors:

The Delmar Community Orchestra is a volunteer, non-audition orchestra. We welcome new members in September and January. Let us know what instrument you play and we’ll let you know if there is a current opening. If we don’t need your talents now, we’ll add your name to our waiting list.

We ask that potential members have basic musical reading and playing competency and be at least sixteen years old. If you’d like a preview of the music we’ll be playing, let us know and we’ll send you a link to our digital library.  Thanks for your interest in our orchestra. We look forward to hearing from you.
