Welcome to the website of the Delmar Community Orchestra, a nonprofit, volunteer organization for adult musicians. We perform four public concerts a year and appear at community events and facilities as demand dictates.
We resumed rehearsing on September 14, 2026. Rehearsals are Monday evenings at 7 pm, at the Delmar Reformed Church, 386 Delaware Ave, Delmar NY 12054. Enter in the back. In case of a cancellation, information will appear here. See our schedule page for complete details.

And now, a word from our board of directors:
The Delmar Community Orchestra is a volunteer, non-audition orchestra. We welcome new members in September and January. Let us know what instrument you play and we’ll let you know if there is a current opening. If we don’t need your talents now, we’ll add your name to our waiting list.
Thinking of joining the orchestra? Want to know what type of music we play? Send us a message and we’ll connect you to our digital catalog. Also, please see our full schedule on the schedule page.
We ask that potential members have basic musical reading and playing competency and be at least sixteen years old. Thanks for your interest in our orchestra. We look forward to hearing from you.
